From Pico da Cruz to the Witchland
Herbaceous-woody scents accompany you today as well as salty-breezy greetings from the sea. The trek mostly begins in the Pico da Cruz area, one of the highest points in northeast Santo Antão. Here, thanks to the altitude and the microclimate, you can find a forest that is home to many endemic plants. The contrast to this is the arrival at the coast of the Atlantic.
